This is a hydrostatic drive hybrid three wheeler that Jeff's dad, Ernie Parker built a few years ago.  It uses an hydraulic accumulator to store power that would normally be lost during braking.  He built it for a guy named Joel Barker and it was featured in a film produced by Joel called.... Discovering the future.

While watching the video, listen for Ernie to shut the engine off and then drive away using only stored energy from the accumulator.

Here it is..... Every mans dream!

A radio controlled, Hydrostatic drive, 60 inch lawn mower.  Notice the lack of a drivers seat.  Every function is controlled from the radio, engine start/stop, throttle up/down, blades on/off, left/right, forward/reverse.  Originally it was planned to have a wireless camera mounted on it with a receiver in the house connected to the TV so you could mow your grass while sitting in the air conditioning and drinking your favorite beverage.... but we never got around to mounting the camera.

It works Great!!
