Don't you watch MTV? According to them, the word "BLING" died in 2002 (roughly) when old people started using it.
Don't get me wrong.... I don't watch it either but they did write a commercial about how the word "BLING" died that I saw while flipping channels one time. ![]() Moderator??? I don't see anything about you being a moderator. It says "Super Duper Site Admin on my computer! ![]() |

Well, I got started back on the fabrication again tonight. I made the 4 mounts that will get welded into the gas tank which will give me a way to mount my tank. I need to get a piece of steel tomorrow and I should be able to finish welding the mounts into the tank and get it bolted to the frame. Once that is done I will make a simple battery box. Depending how far I get, I might try to get the handle bars and foot pegs made too. Jeff, I may need to use the tubing bender tomorrow or Sunday.
My front axle showed up yesterday. I ordered the axle from Dennis Kirk at 7:45pm on Wednesday night. I had the axle in my hands by noon the next day. I guess It pays to order from a parts supplier that is only an hour away from me. I just got the tracking number for the rear fender I bought from eBay at 5:00pm tonight (Friday) and I ordered it on Tuesday. It took four days before they even sent my order info to UPS. Just Because they have a tracking number doesn't mean they actually have it on the truck yet. And.... I don't know anything about the tire yet..... The last time I ordered a tire from this place (I think they're in Utah) it took 2 weeks to get it! No pictures yet but I'll try to get some tomorrow. My welds don't look like Leroy's welds so don't set your hopes too high. I had a brand new Miller Syncrowave TIG welder here at my house for about 6 months and didn't have the patience to get better at using it. ![]() I'll have another update tomorrow. Brian. ![]() |

I just walked in the door from the garage. I started at 1pm so I guess I only have about 8 hours in today... You got me beat. Give me a little while and I'll have the pictures uploaded. Check back later tonight. Brian. |

it LOOKS heavy... looks gorgeous also... Am I right in guessing that the motor is already in there and that access panel is to hook up the lines?

The access cover on the bottom is to get the motor in and out. The access cover inside the radius is for making the hydraulic connections. Brian. ![]() |

Speaking of high seat heights. Brian, do you have the picture of me sitting on my new one with my feet dangling trying to reach the ground? I'm 6' tall(with shoes) and I can barely touch the ground with my toes sitting on my 2wd bike. It sure is comfortable when my feet are on the pegs though.
You see a few people lower the rear suspension and let the frame lay on the ground instead of using a kickstand. The chain gets all gangly when they do that. It sure would be easy to do something like that with our drive-lines... Next bike??? Jeff
